Martin Bishop has a very interesting blog about facebook and the number of people that you can effectively keep in your circle. Apparently, the size of the human brain allows stable networks or relationships of about 148. Rounded to 150, this has become famous as “the Dunbar number”.

Makes you wonder, are you really connecting with old friends? Or, are you just keeping up with your regular circle in a place where everyone can watch?
